Pure lemon.

Wir wollten einen Limoncello, der nach der Frucht schmeckt und nicht nach Bonbon. Also haben wir ihn selbst gemacht, in unserer Küche in der Orangerie.

We wanted a limoncello that tastes of the fruit, not of candy. So we made it ourselves, in our kitchen at the Orangerie.

Wir reiben die Schalen unbehandelter Zitronen von Hand ab und lassen sie ziehen, bis der Alkohol nach Sommer schmeckt. Dann kommt nur noch Zuckersirup dazu, sonst nichts.

We zest untreated lemons by hand and let the peel steep until the alcohol tastes like summer. Then only sugar syrup goes in, nothing else.

Vom ersten Ansatz bis zur fertigen Flasche bleibt der Limoncello bei uns. Das Team probiert jede Charge, bevor sie abgefüllt wird, und erst wenn alle einverstanden sind, geht sie in die Flasche.

From the first batch to the finished bottle, the limoncello stays with us. The team tastes every batch before it is bottled, and only when everyone agrees does it go into the bottle.

Herausgekommen sind 28 % vol, frisch und hell. Am besten eiskalt aus dem Gefrierfach, nach dem Essen oder auf der Terrasse.

The result: 28 % abv, fresh and bright. Best ice cold from the freezer, after dinner or out on the terrace.

Gedruckt wird nur der ruhige Teil. Den gelben Strich malt jemand aus unserem Team mit einem breiten Pinsel auf jede Flasche, dazu Batch und Flaschennummer von Hand. Mal waagerecht, mal schräg, mal läuft er übers Etikett. Keine Flasche sieht aus wie die andere.

Only the calm part is printed. Someone from our team paints the yellow stroke onto every bottle with a wide brush and writes batch and bottle number by hand. Sometimes level, sometimes slanted, sometimes it runs over the label. No two bottles look alike.
